The Beach is sand stone... it is a cove running from the ocean in a horseshoe shaped cove... the sea mist is absorbed by the sandstone... making it slick as hell so generaly the best times to climb are the afternoon(once the sun has dried it out a bit) even then its still slick the santa ana winds have a great effect on the rock... drying it more than any other weather condition... making it one of my favorite spots to climb... regardless Bouldering there today is not gonna happen for me... Iwill however be there for a couple hours tommorow... If anyone heads down, I'll be the guy wearing 5.10 Huecos, Brown pants with blue stripes... and likely a black wife-beater, say hi.

This weather is awesome. It's not too hot, not too cold...and the night-time temp. allows a t-shirt and shorts. Just climb in the morning or afternoon and you'll be fine anywhere in SoCal.
