I've tried slacklining at ground level and found it helped my balence etc. a lot but i was pondering setting up a 50 foot line and clipping a 5 foot long sling to my harness soo when i fall its more fun and more thrills!!! your thoughts?

Make SURE you know what you are doing before you start messing with high lines. Just like climbing from bouldering there are a lot more things that can go wrong. Also, high lines are a lot harder to walk as well. Have all you moves on the low line dialed before to try anything higher. But if you know that you are ready then go ahead.

You could also try raising the line to 10 feet then 15' to get used to the difference. Just run an anchor line above you slackline to clip you leash to. It will provide a little more confidence when starting out.

I agree with w6jxm! Make sure you do your homework...... The line you are currently using for a low line is most likely NOT the line you want to use up high!

Be safe and best of luck!
