some friends and i are going backpacking in the smokies nat'l park this coming saturday thru tuesday. we are going to Camp 23, which is labeled on the (recent) map as 'Rock Camp'. we were wondering if this name indicates that there is a good bouldering/highballing spot nearby. thanks a lot.

I've never been to camp 23 but with the experience I have in the smokies I would say "rock camp" is the discription of what you'll be sleeping on. I hope I'm wrong and you find some good bouldering. I would suggest taking a wire brush.
