Wichita Wildlife Refuge (west of Lawton, OK) is about 70 miles away. I know of trad climbing in the area and there is an Oklahoma Climber's Guide that's pretty good. Popular climbing area is Mount Scott. I went camping there in the 80's. We had longhorn steer coming through our campsite, saw racoons and buffalos. The place is pretty wild. The area is mostly small mountains covered with big boulders. I find it surprising that the area hasn't seen some development. Even if you don't get any bouldering in, it's a great place to explore. Just don't go alone. My last night there I drove over a huge rattlesnake. By the time I could turn around and go back, it had slithered off the road. Here's a good site: http://www.wichitamountains.org/index.html
