if you are talking about the allamuchy st park in NJ i might be able to help if you can give me some route names on it...also isnt that a bit far from md for you to travel to climb sure there is some stuff closerto you then a 4 hour commute

also dont know if you are aware of it or not but there is now a $50 deadon pass they say you have to buy before you are allowed to climb there...once i find the thread on it ill post it here for you

NJ is where i'll be this summer. CLimbed Allamuchy (nj) quite a bit over the past few years. Never found the monolith.

yeah bummer about that climber fee. I'll prolly just ignore allamuchy and hit the gunks everyweekend - not a bad trade eh?

I think thats the wrong link clymber- its about learning trad and getting an AMGA guide.

There is a large rock sitting all by itself in the woods above the climbing area. About 15 by 15 feet at the base and about 20 feet high. To get to it find the blue blazed trail above the upper climbing area and make a right on the trail. At the first four way trail junction make a left, the rock is about a quarter mile down on the left.

I think you are referring to "the pebble"...
