HERE WE GO AGAIN !!! I apologize for all the weather related confusion :( As we all know, us folk in MA have been slaughtered by the "great" weather. We've been trying to get small things going here and there, but JUNE 7 we/ I will be at Crow Hill in Leominster, MA I'm looking for a role call: a pseudo count on who's in and who's out. I will be bringing stuff to BBQ,I'm happy to do this for fellow climbers. I wanted to do it for the redrocks gathering in Gloucester, I'd like to see that same crowd out at CH, they were great peeps ! So speak up Feel free to PM me with requests, and/or ideas So far I have: AS LONG AS THE WEATHER HOLDS !! JUNE 7 8) Bonesz- Grill, Food, Drinks etc tcollins wideguy- grill, cooler robbovius ?? Bring the kid ! jakedatc ? dovaka ? foo...........?? jumaringjeff ?? I'd suggest that if y'all have those funky fold up chairs, you bring em..

Me, plus one, maybe. Foo, can you bring you extra harness if you come? I think Kate is going to try and make it. She's got to break in the new shoes she bought on tuesday. I'll toss in what ever looks good in my fridge at the time.

Bonesz, count me in. (If it's not raining) We should be able to find one dry face to set up even if it rained a day before. Remember to Bring Bug Dope! Steve

In reply to: 1. is camping available... i would probably make a weekend out of it. No camping where the crag is, but this site lists some camp grounds. No idea how close any of them are though. http://www.state.ma.us/dem/parks/lmsf.htm TD

Don, I hate to say it but this weather is good for me. It has forced me to take a break from climbing which I have been doing to much of. I know you don't think that is possible but I didn't either until after the second week of climbing every day. It has only been one day of rest and I am itching to get back on a rock so I am very interested in joining you on June1st. Again, I'm real sorry about not bringing the grill last time. It wasn't real clear who was bringing what or if we were even going to be able to climb 'cause the weather. I don't know how but I promise to make it up to you.

Hey Tad..don't blame yourself....if it is to be..it's up to me. That's funny, you're climbing everyday, and need a rest, I've been working everyday, and need to climb to rest. I'll add everyone to the "going" list it's going to be great !

Don't worry Don, Sunday will be your day of rest and you shall worship the god of rock. I'm not talking about Robb and his rock star status, I'm talking about the metamorphic rock your gonna lay your hands on at Crow Hill this weekend. Which brings me to my point... I know that you are going to get there before the squirrels wake up but what time do you think everyone else will show up and where are we parking and meeting?

That's a really good Q. I'm thinking those who really want to do particular lines will show up early so they can set anchors or lead up for the first ascent of the day. Those who are coming for the company and the food will show up around lunch time, lol. It's like not going to the wedding but, going to the reception, ha ha ha . I'm just an early riser, I can't help it. I guess, anyone can show up at any time. 9:30-10 for the group(ie) thing. 'course after this amount of rain we're getting right now, it SHOULD NOT RAIN for our little gathering. We still don't have any kind of contingency plan eh?

I could pull off either day. As to time, I definately wanna get on one of the easier routes. Along the right face I guess (Haven't bought a guide yet) Question for anyone who's guided there up there, HOW early do those routes get staked out, generally? I was planning on like a 8-9:00 arrival. Should I go earlier, with Bonesz and the squirrels

I've been there at 8am and seen it packed. might not be so bad this weekend as the rain we're getting might scare away some of the riff raff. If it's gonna be on Saturday, getting there early is gonna be goddam tough for me as I got a gig the night before...
