B.C. Parks finally announced the falcon closures on the Chief this year. The route closures are in effect from June 28-July 31. This doesn't cover all of the routes that exist in this area, but if you're thinking of doing a route that's unlisted, perhaps it's better to find another route instead (the Chief is a big place after all.) If you have spotted the falcons or see any evidence of falcon activity (bird carcasses from falcons hunting, etc.), please call 604-898-3678 ext # 353. In addition, there is no new route activity between Negro Lesbian and Freeway. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
