Was just wondering if anybody could give me some info on climbing gyms in Durban? A telephone number would be excellent.

Got a mate who recently returned from Durbs and mentioned a really awesome indoor rock wall at the Gateway Mall. Apparently the belayers are there fulltime, chat to them and see what they know. My next suggestion would be to get hold of the local varsity, they always have climbing walls and this where most SA's are introduced to climbing.

Hope this helps you.

Hi RRabbit

Glad to see you in the SA-section. New or have you been a member for a while?
Either way, welcome here and keep your visits frequent.
Keep up the climbing and let us know if you get info on some new climbing venues.

Have a blast

Hey Rocmonkey.

Yes I am new to the site, although I started climbing way back when I was in school. Then it kind of just stopped after my climbing partner went overseas. I recently got back into it a few months ago when I was going through my old gear and thought that it would be a great idea to give it a bash again and this time I aint going to quit.

Rock on
