I've already blocked off Columbus Day. Labor day is out for me. So obviously I'm voting for Oct. Fawkes, you are correct, Canadian Thanksgiving and Columbus Day are the same weekend. TD

I was wondering if the gathering has a final date and if everyone has a place to stay?

And it will be a good time once more! I do believe that Joe (my buddy) and I will make it. There may be others in my group as well. It Will Be Better Then Last Year!

I could swing to P-way for a day. A little trad and some bouldering. Like last year I don't have monday off unfortunetly. So a sunday trip would be good for me. Gets me a little closer to home, heheh.

Mmmmm, the menu is looking good this year. Varied too, Cannon multipitch, Rumney sport/trad, Pawtuckaway bouldering. Is everyone at Julianas folks this year or do we have Jan abandoning the wedding plans to play? Is mom checking the thread yet Jules? I wonder if we will have a jackass-ociates incident this year? It would be good to see all the jackass crew back too - what say Texas, N.Jersey, and Oregan? Blue or smilies???????

I think Jan's wedding is late August, so he SHOULD be around... but, everyone can stay with me as long as we don't get too many people.

Hi Grant (and Jules and everyone else), Like Jules said, I'm done wedding-ing in late August, so I'm around assuming I around (we don't know where we're living yet). If we end up in the area, which we probably will, then the house will certainly be available, but if it's less than 30 people we may as well be at Jules' anyway. I'll keep you posted - it would be good to have my place available too, because I'm willing to bet the gathering could grow pretty quickly. Jan

The dates are October 10 - 13th. Most campgrounds will be closed by then, but you are all welcome to stay at my family's camp in Ashland (two towns over from Rumney.) I can call around about camping if anyone would like me to.

Hey, how come "Rumney Gathering V2.0" is listed as upcoming on the NH page but not listed on the front page as an upcoming event. Is something broken there or is it an ommission???

If I remember right, (and I used to do this stuff, you know :p) FP events have to be added manually. So, chances are, someone hasn't edited it to be on the front page.
