I hate tendonitis judt a few weeks ago i went to see my dr. because i was having shooting paind down my left arm. he said i was developing tendonitis and i should stay off it for aleast a week. I went insane and ended up climbing with one arm. It sucked!

I had the same problem on my right middle finger. I actually had a lump on the joint that connects the hand to the finger. I went to an ortho/sugeon. He told me that the lump was scar tissue. He also gave me some kind of finger splint to keep it immobilized while I slept. But he said that there was really nothing he could do to it. I told him that I was massaging it with an esential oil blend. He agreed, that was the best thing for it. After two months of the treatment the lump disappeared. You can keep climbing or you can lay off for a while but, dont push it till it goes away.
From time to time it may come back. But ussually stays away if warm up and make sure my fingers are good and stretched out before I grab the hard stuff.
Good luck.
