I'm a newbie who just finished a month long class in bouldering and I love it. I'll probably never go back to sport again. I'm currently working on technique and waiting out the heat in the climbing gym but would definitely like to move it outside by September/October. Should have my own crash pad by then. Just looking for someone close to my ability level to climb with. Let me know if you're interested, Angela

Angela, I have two female friends who get together to boulder on Fridays at various outdoor Austin locations, including Jollyville Rd. and Bull Creek. Send me a PM and I'll hook you up. Don't much care for bouldering myself, although the cliffs at Thurmond Cove at Pace Bend Park are the exception. That place is crazy fun. You should head out there to beat the heat. Boulder on the rocks and fall into the water of the lake.

You GO grrrrrrrrrrrrrl. Try to hook up with some ladies with pads and go try your hand at teh v0s at Jollyville. They are past the first big wall you come to. Also, excursions to the backyard will touchen you up for the boldering season quite a bit. Take a couple friends and a machete, beta is at www.bloodyflapper.com

 Why thank'ya. I've met a few ladies at the gym, but I have a sneaking suspicion they're going to try to make me use a harness if we tackle the great outdoors together. A girl can always dream. Thanks for the link. I'll check it out.
