I bought a pair of 5.10 moccasyms a while back, the guy that was there told me that the moccasyms would stretch greatly, so I bought them super small. They stretched, but seems too be too much, they're loose now. Any way to make them tighter? (other then growing bigger feet ) They're made with leather, if you add water to leather the leather shrinks/gets tighter, would that work?

In theroy it should work. Just be sure to air dry, no dryer. It can hurt, a little water, I mean.

I'd be very surprised if the leather shrunk. Make sure you post here whether or not it works. Unlined shoes will stretch quite a bit; shoes lined with fabric will stretch much less. For me, examples of the two are the FiveTen Mocasym (unlined), and the FiveTen Anaszazi (lined). I bought U.S size 7 in both shoes, and the Mocasym has stetched almost past anything but a warm-up shoe, and the Anasazi's still hurt (but, hey, it's a good hurt).

If ya wet them and let them dry they usually draw up a little depending on how worn out the leather is..

JDS100: the Anastzi's are Synthic leather and don't react the way regular leather does. that's why they tend to stink so much worse than leather shoes. they stretch VERY little, wheras leather does. Mine (Anastazi's) aren't much different than when I bought 'em.

You could beat your feet with a stick until they're swollen, then they might fit, getting them wet will do about as much good. Jeff

well my shoes shrunk, and that was because i went climbing in the rain. just the right amount of water and then they just air dried when it stopped raining.
