Went to the Fern on Sat. I just want to give props to the person/people who bolted this area. They did a fantastic job.

Also I went to Sheppards Springs. As I was driving there I notice (when you take a right past the cemetary) that there is a huge cliff band on the left across the lake. Does anybody know if there access to climb this bluff line? It has potential to have hundreds of sport routes there.

Also made my way to Cave Creek, one of my favorite places to climb. Project went down .Always a bonus.

Phantom - I was not planning on going there, so I did not bring my guidebook. I scoped it out last time I was there. The route I pointed was to the left of White Girl (I think that is the name of the route) I don't know if you call it a project, but I was able to nail it my 2nd try. When I get home today I am going to see what it was. It has a overhung beginning to a vertical face. If you know the name of it let me know.

Show up Memorial Day! Flying Elvis is going down!!!

HMMMM...Could it be "Buddhist Prodigy"?
5.11a, 4 bolts, two bolt anchor. Well done.
FA Phantom nods his heavy head to you.
As long as your gonna do Flying Elvis, you should also do "The Big Easy" right next door. It makes for a handy preview of Elvis...

Phantom - I think that is it. 4 bolts, 2 anchors. Thanks. I haven't done the Big Easy. I have come close to Flying Elvis, couldn't clip the damn anchors. I also want to do Involuntary Manslaughter, but I have no business doing it on trad. Is there anchors on top? Even doing it TR would be worth it. Looks like a beautiful line.
