Hi,

I'm going to be in Athens for work until Sep 19th. After that I'd love to do some climbing over there. If anyone is available to climb, has recommendations where to climb or better yet a place where I might be able to find a partner, I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks!

Stan

Well, I'm heading to Kalymnos this Friday (Sep 19) and will be there about a week. If you want to come climb send me a message.

Hey Stan,
you are back maybe. I am going to Athens in a few weeks. Could you please give me some advice? I am going solo and I would love to meet up with people to climb/boulder with. Also did you hear of any good hostels? Basically any really cool things you'd recommend to check out? (I have an idea of things I'm interested in; but I'd like hear your experiences too.)

Thanks Stan.
Charlotte

Hey Charlotte,

Hopefully you'll be as lucky as I was on Kalymnos and find some good partners there. Massouri is where you want to base yourself. From there you can walk to the best crags. There are some incredible routes - especially in the Grand Grotto! There are many climbers, mostly Europeans, but most are paired up. Ask Steve at the Glaros bar or the German lady that runs the Climber's Nest shop if they know someone looking for partners. There are lots of places to stay, it should be no problem finding a place when you arrive. Have a great time!

Stan
