I have a friend that wants us to help him build a bouldering wall in his very high ceilinged basement, but we just arent sure quite how to start. Help us if you can or direct us in the right direction.

The Climbing Wall Resource

that's the only site I can remember right now. I'm going to start building my wall when I get back from Rumney next week.

My advice would be to first do some research on framing so that you can get a better idea of what wall features and shapes are viable.
then do some designing and measureing and then build.

Remember to use 3/4 inch plywood rather than 1/2 inch, and place your support studs, 16" to 18" apart.
