Good *yawn* morning from the rainy Apple... Gonna rain all week, supposedly. I'm gonna be pissed if it cancels my climbing plans for next weekend. Spent all weekend riding with friends, and dealing with a friend's new girlfriend - who absolutely has to be the center of attention at all times, and is always right. Just ask her. Grrrr. Goodness forbid anyone is able to get a word in edgewise... *sigh* At least my friend is happy. I keep telling myself that's all that matters. However, a large part of me wants to belay her on a route somewhere and tie her off just before the crux... Coffee? Put a shot of whiskey in it, please. Thank goodness for short weeks. T

AWWW...so cute. :) You remembered to tell him that most 2nd grade teachers have 2 heads and fangs, right??? :D

The thing is, I don't ever think he won't be. This is the only girl that's been able to keep up with his mania for bicyling. Their first date was an English Century, for fock's sake, at an average speed of 21mph. Oh, well. She knows that I'm not pleased with her insistance that she be Lord and Master. Hopefully, she'll tone it down. Hey ~T~ - hope your son has a great day at school. Just tell him to not drop the soap, and everything will be fine... Oh, that was bad. T

Morning everyone!! Yawn, I was at work almost an hour early today, holy crap that's not like me. Weekend was great!! Took the 4 day weekend and climbed 2 days, did nothing but sit around and drink 2 days, overall very fufilling. Not looking forward to the insane week at work...too many meetings, yuck. T- your son will have a blast, I don't remember grade 2, so it must have been fine? Mwbtle- yeah, the whole new job thing, weird and daunting, but hey at least you're in a new place, could be fun. Taino-it's supposed to be beautifull here all week, yipee, climbing and running all week. Oh, and just to comment on the lame girlfriends...my friends do it too, it sucks. OR they have a really cool girlfriend that they dump for someone hotter and less smart, boys are lame sometimes. Have a great day everyone!!!

ok, you lost me about the english century thing... but, if she's really terrible, the passion for biking might not be enough. guess it depends on how much he's willing to put up with. I mean, I feel like a total b*tch about it, but I've kinda kept erik from a few of his friends who I REALLY don't like...one in particular because he's a complete waste of air who stalked one of my best friends... anyways, I'm always like, damn! I'm that evil b*tchy girl! maybe she needs to get to know you better...because once I became friends with his friends, I wasn't as terrible and selfish about things... I dunno what my point was, I guess just that it sucks when you lose a friend like that...but maybe she has some reasoning behind it... not that I think you stalked her best friend or anything, but maybe once she gets to know you you'll get along better??? ...I'm now going to wait for someone to tell me I'm a terrible person...

I figured out what I meant after I posted it! its really threatening to meet "his friends"...I mean, because if they don't like you, you might be gone immediately or something. intimidating may be a better word. so maybe she deals with it by being evil, and then warms later...a defense mechanism if you will... ok, thats it. :steps off soapbox:

Oooohh, Okay I get it "Doubles Day"... Doubles =two = Tuesday... I get it. No fair making me think after a long weekend. Just put the word COFFEEin the title for the less "With it" among us, Please?!?! OK so LONG weekend landscaping capped off by a day at the local mini golf-driving range-gokart track with the family. After my weekend labors lets just say 5 rounds in the Batting cages wasn't a good idea. Especially taking the challenge to face the "Very FAST cage. 15 pitches 15 whiffs and one completely blown right arm. Like, had to let my wife drive home blown. Feels better this AM but I can already feel the typeing starting to ache.  Tai - sorry to here about the she-devil, but it's nice that you are able to put your buddy's happiness first. Just make sure he really IS happy and not that she just has him whipped into thinking so. If that becomes thge case it is your obligation to make him see reason. A beating MAY be required in that case. T - Just start by telling him that second grade girls are easy. Should help ease the transition. So I'm seen Mel, T, and Kelly. Where are the rest of the goddesses? I'm gonna need the regular posting of all the beauties to keep me awake today.

I know this was from FRIDAYS coffee... http://www.rockclimbing.com/...opic_view=&start=195 but I had no chance to respond!! so here it is...SUCKAH!! :P
In reply to: In reply to: I loved this dialog relic: “Rope or rack?” “Huh?” “Do you want to carry the rope or the rack?” “The other guys I climb with don’t make me carry anything.” “You carry one or the other or you don’t climb with me…So, the rope or the rack?” “Which one’s heavier?” “Get back in the truck.” “Why?” “I don’t need a dependant…I need a partner…you’re obviously not it…so get in the truck.” The End I don’t have the time, patience, or desire to deal with those sorts of issues. Help out or stay home. DUDE!!!! I SAID I was sorry about that. I was just feeling.... I dunno,.... tired that day!!! Can't a person have one bad moment with you?!?!?! sheesh....  OR ONE GOOD MOMENT???!!! hangerlessbolt quote: My biggest turn-on and something that will stick with me for the rest of my days. Nikegirl and I had just begun dating. We planned to do a 4-day trek in Joshua Tree. I selected a backcountry spot to avoid the hassle of dealing with the more populated areas. We’re unloading the truck and I start hauling stuff the 1/10 mile to where we’d be setting up camp. I grab some gear, walk a little ways, and turn around…she’s got my biggest and heaviest tote…throws the radio on top of it…and starts following me. I swear to god that was the hottest thing I’d ever phucking seen. wOOt wOOt!!! Hey??? wideguy???? sweetie?? I win!!! na na na na boooo boooo!! hee hee  *flexes her muscles* all in good humor my friend. *plllllllttttthhh!! he's mine !!! snicker* /runs from coffee shop   gettin' goin' while the goin's goooood!! I'm not too worried about her; I mean, I don't have to see her very often, nor for very long. I just don't know if I'll accept if he asks me to be his Best Man. ~T~, I swear - there's nothing in my psyche that would link to such a remark. Chad, WTF?? BASEBALL???? I'm so ashamed of you. Mel, I just can't see you as the evil girlfriend. Well, actually, I can, but I'm trying to be nice for once. Winter, you and your weather suck out loud. T

Tai...yeah, not my proudest moment realizing that I am indeed an evil girlfriend with unrealistic expectations...remember, I've been "one of the guys" for forever. and I hated that girl. and now I am that girl. dammit. chad, I didn't get beat up, because I'm a girl. but being a smart girl who is smaller than everyone else and wears glasses, is practically suicide. actually, I'll take now over then now I think about it. the psychological crapitude that happened is not worth the bliss. At least now people aren't allowed to try to damage me if they want to appear to be adults.
