I've been looking for online info about the logistics of climbing on Baffin Island but haven't had any luck. Can anyone suggest good sources of info regarding both logistics of travelling there and possibly topo's, route information, etc. Cheers.

Go to http://www.texasclimbers.com and ask James Crump there about Baffin. While you are at it, you can read his 1995 trip report. He won't have current beta I don't think, but worth a look.

Check out the book "Fifty Favorite Climbs" (not to be confused with "Fifty Classic Climbs"). It describes an expedition to Baffin Island by Conrad Anker, who put up a first ascent there. It gives general information on travel, logistics, etc. It is not a general guidebook to the area, however, and won't have route information (other than Anker's).

I would think that most people seek out climbing in Baffin Island because it's still a wild and remote location that hasn't been documented to death in websites and books. I suspect most are glad that there is no website guiding you through every step of an expedition. If you really want an adventure you may have to do a little research for your self. There've been numerous articles in various climbing magazines over the years. The names of FAs are always listed. Why not look up these people and give them a call or send an email? Just an idea.
