Here in North Western South Carolina, and it looks like I will be able to climb both days. Like to go to Hawksbill, Shiprock, or other NC area, but am open to travel up to 4 hours. Already been to Looking Glass, Tablerock, Sunset, Moore's Wall, Boat Rock, and Stone Mountain, but will go to any of these places again, save Moore's Wall, as it's more than 4 hours away.

That would be one vote for Hawksbill or Tablerock. I'm a bit interested in Shiprock to tell you the truth.

I haven't been to Shiprock yet. Table Rock is good, but the routes down in the gorge are better. Especially Shortoff Mt. 8) Are you bringing Blake? And where's jen_c? She wants some N.C. action, too. I'm going climbing today, but I'll check back this evening.

Yeah, looking at the Weather Channel radar, it looks like she's moving more in a westerly direction than I would like, but the forcast for Linville Falls and Linville, N.C. looks OK for the w/e. If you guys want to climb here in Chatt., that would be fine, too.

Is Obed within 4 hours of me ??? I am in Clemson, SC about 40 miles west of Greenville. I'm about 30 minutes from the Georgia boarder. I have a partner for Sunday, but not for Sat.

Dude, come up! It's looking better all the time, Hmmmm, I'll to a mapquest search for you. As of now, I'm taking a couple of beginners climbing some easy clip up stuff tomorrow, and on Sunday, I'm going to try and have a performance day. My birthday is on tuesday, and I've got a goal I need to at least attempt to meet. I'll get on the driving time thing... Travis

HERE'S THE LINK Woah, 5 hours?? That's a long way from home. Dont you need to try and run from that hurricane though? Hahahahahttp://www.mapquest.com/...00244-068f8-400c3302 I'm not going to lie, that pink line goes right by a whole BUNCH of prime climbing areas in NC. I'd have a really hard time driving by good multi-pitch trad to go sport cragging. Hahahaha. Travis

Too far for a day, as that would be 10 hours of driving. Dude, you are one hard climber to hook up with... Soon though I hope.

It ain't for lack of climbing, hahaha. I just took a group of noobs climbing today. I must have climbed 20 pitches of 5.7-5.9 clipups setting topropes and cleaning. I just dropped everyone off, and I'm headed back up in a minute to camp and have a performance day tomorrow. SPORT WEENIES UNITE!!! Hahahaha...I'll head down your way in the next couple of weeks. We'll do some tradding. Travis
