Looking for some specifics on where this place is located. Is it down the road the campground is on? If so, what is up with the gate being locked? HELP!

Get on 441 North. Make a left onto Coweeta Lab Rd. Stay on Coweeta Lab rd. You run directly into the gravel road. Drive up the mountian until you reach the sign that says Pickens Nose Trail (about 20 mins drive up the mountain). Hike the trail for about 15 mins. There is about a 40 ft cliff on the right. Keep going about a 1 min. On the right of the trail there is about a 75 ft cliff and a 80 ft cliff. from that cliff you will see pickens nose on your left. If you have trouble with these directions, go into franklin city and goto the Three Eagles Outfitting post and ask for directions.

freaking place is closed right now. apparently they keep it closed for periods to let the wildlife have a rest from the human traffic. if you bring a bike for the service road, you can park as far forward as long branch trail before the road is blocked.
