We will be out there during that time.

Here is a great website for Spain areas. Just use the first drop down menu for areas in Spain.

Erica, I never knew you were going to Spain!!! What for? I would love to take a trip like that! If I would have known sooner I probably could have made some arrangements to go as well. I have some friends that live in Barcelona. Oh well I'll have to plan for some other time.

Ive just moved to Spain. I live in Santiago de Compostela. If youre anywhere near Galicia let me know, because Im looking for climbing partners. Also, Id be happy to travel somewhere near Madrid or Barcelona. Id really like to get to Picas de Europa or to the Pyrenese (spelled wrong, I know), but I dont know much about the weather there. Send me an email at iltripp@unity.ncsu.edu if youre still looking for a partner

I will be in Northern Spain, mainly San Sebastian, until Nov. 17th. Anyone climbing in the area, I would love to meet up.

I know there is some climbing slightly north of Barcelona. If anyone has other suggestions on climbing in the San Sebastian area, it would be much appreciated.

Yo!

Siurana is quite good, especially if you climb 10d/11a (6b/6b+?) and up--especially on the upside. Even better in that same locale is Montsant. JUGS!!! AWESOME! All grades, very beautiful setting, and not trashed yet either. (i.e. very little pink toilet paper blowing around). Ask Tony Arbones at the climbers bar in Siurana.

The Rockfax guide is cruicial, although it doesn't have alot it will get you to many areas. When I was there many locals asked if they could buy the book from me, as it was then out of print. I think there was a reprint last year. Ask Mick.

Go and Enjoy. If it is hot, Go to Rodellar up north!

Buena Suerte
