Hey everyone. I am competeing in my first competition on March 9. I have been climbing for 2 years and am pretty comfortable on a 5.9. Any tips on how to prepare for the competition? Thanks.

Climb alot, and don't climb for 2 days before our compettition. Drinks a few red bolts 45 mins before the comp too, and don't eat heavy first.

Also, I would say that if you feel you're intermediate, enter in beginner. Let them bump you if they need to. I foudn this can be important if you're climbing between the two levels.

March 9th, one year anniversary with me and my girl Hope you do great on that date. Anyways, besides eating lightand taking a caffine drink let your body rest like dustinap said. Its called tapering. I do it in swimming competition. It gives your body a chance to rest and build strength and muscle mass. Also not metioned which im sure you know is to warm up and stretch really well. Definitly dont want to cramp up. Good luck to you
