:D Just got back from Vedauwoo. First time there and I was very impressed! It's a great time of year with the colors and all. Lots of awesome routes! I can't wait to go back. Does anyone know if and when a guide book will be available again?

Heel & Toe should've been out this month. But don't worry. You don't need it. Go to www.vedauwoo.org or www.climbingboulder.com. Or better yet, dig up the old Kopischka guidebook. Mine was printed in '78, and it gets me around just fine.

In reply to: vedauwoo is suposedly cursed, anyone else hear something about this? Beware the Dreaded Curse of Vedauwoo. It claims a pound of flesh from all novice off-width climbers that dare to enter it's cheese grater cracks

no, my ex got a kidney infection and spent a week in the hospital in laramie, a few years later I busted up my ankles there. the off-widths had nothing to do with my history there. it is pretty this time of year there

Vedauwoo really is a great place to climb. But the first large crack I did there (Mother #1 I think) was like shoving myself through a cheese grater - it was strangely pleasant in a masochistic sort of way, but sweet Jesus I was pretty chewed up afterwards ;-)
