I got my first pair of resoles back - I sent a pair of LaSportiva Enduros to www.redrockresole.com, and I got a great turnaround (faster than promised, less than 2 weeks)!

I wasn't sure which rubber to use, and Jules was very friendly and helpful by email.

Also - I asked for full soles and new rands (because I didn't really know what I needed) - and Jules only did half soles, and glued the heal (there was a loose spot) and only charged me for the half-sole. That impressed me because they didn't do more than the shoes needed. When I got the shoes back, they looked like they were brand new, and I agree that the heels looked fine too. And so awesome.

The next morning, I dropped my second pair of Enduros (also worn out) in the mail for resoling, but this time with a different rubber. The first pair I got Scarpa Megabyte. For the second pair, I'm gonna get 5.10's C4. Then I'll post a comparison between the rubbers.

Anyway, I love when I get good quality work, and good service. And I wanted to say thanks and share the beta.

Good Call....

I've had Jules do all of my resoles..about 5 so far...
I keep C4 on my La sportivas and S2 on my 5.10s.

They do a great job and have a relatively quick turn around.

Yeah, I like C4 best.

Jules?? Huh, did she used to work for Joshua Tree resoles? I sent her my very first pair of shoes in 95. They got lost in the mail on the way back. She was very professional about it and refunded the full amount of the shoe.

It's good to hear she's still resoling and doing a great job.

Cheers, Ammon
