I follow 5.10s (10a & b for sure, sometimes 10c & d), lead 5.8 trad, 5.9 sport I'll be coming from either So.Cal or New York but in either case, via Texas where I have friends to visit (in Austin) I can go anytime and stay as long as I want.

Hey all, cologman, scallywag, and I are thinking about going down in January as well. I'm sure anything we can do to cut expenses and make more friends would be welcome. Maybe we could organize a semi-formal trip from Colorado? Josh

I am looking out for some Potero Chico climbing buddies- I will be there from mid February for about 3 weeks.... I am backpacking and am not keen on dragging ropes and draws through Guatemala, London etc... so looking for some friendly sorts who won't mind sharing gear  I will also be heading to Krabi in April.... I'll be heading to Potrero from Texas next Sunday or so (Dec. 28) . If anyone is driving, I'll kick in on gas. I can leave from Plano, Austin or San Antonio. I may stay around for 2-3 months. Are there any apartments to rent or just the bungalows?

Potrero has several camping sites there are rooms casitas and camp for tents. You will find something comfortable while being there! You gonna love this place and if you have a chance go to El Salto and a Huasteca too!! Have a great climb here in Mexico
