Ok, here’s the situation. Around the first or second week of January my friend Simon and I are going on yet another rock climbing road trip. We will be arriving in Sydney and from there plan on hitting as many crags and climbing areas as humanly possible in 3 months time. My question to anyone reading this is. What climbing areas in Australia do you suggest we go to? Please consider the time of year that we’ll be there, and consider that we ONLY have three months. Also, and this is a bit of a long shot, but if you live in Australia we need your help. You see, we can’t very well go on a rock climbing road trip without a car and we intend on buying one ASAP after our arrival in Sydney. After checking things out on the internet I’ve discovered that the best way to buy a second hand car is to buy it off its previous owner. Of course getting around Sydney to find a used car wouldn’t be that big a deal if A. We new our way around Sydney. B. The idea of driving on the left had side of the road in a busy metropolitan area didn’t scare the crap out of me. And finally C. We had a car to get around in.
So my question to you is. Would you be willing to help a couple of Canadians out by driving them around for a day, to help them find a used car? We’d make it worth your effort buy buying petrol for your car, buying you lunch and dinner, and of course bringing you climbing at any crag of choice in our new-to-us car.
