In regards to shirts/pants/shorts/hats/etc. what do you look for? Do you want comfort? Style? A nice combination of both? Durability? Sleek and sexy or functional?

Fish nets and 5 inch stilettos...... I look for function with a bit of style. Went through my Prana stage about 7 years ago.

Depends who's wearing them. If it's a woman, I look for brevity and tightness.

Fiend, would you like something to go with that spam or what?!?! HAHA I am still confused as to why people have to have pants that are made of 100% COTTON and cost $55. What makes it better? The logo, the thought of paying someone to advertise their logo, what? I would also like to know what you people look for in not just pants and shorts, but jackets, and other outerwear. And thoughts on other gear like packs, rope bags, and crashpads.

My friends and I were just talking about this! We came to the conclusion that it's something that you would give to Goodwill, but you just don't want to get rid of it! I like stretchy pants and usually tank tops for climbing. I like Prana, but I don't like the cost of it, so I usually go with something from my old closet!

Anything that give me that naked feeling, minus the exposed flesh.

Oversized pants on the clearance rack. Boy are they BAGGY and CHEAP. I only wear my Parana stuff to the CLUBS so I can show off my fancy LABLES.

Any ol' crappy t-shirt works well, too! I love crappy t-shirts. Again, I only wear my expensive t-shirts out of dates chicks think I'm really cool.

I look at the price first of all.

Then I look at the durability.

Then I look at the crotch, make sure I'll be able to move in it.

Then I see what colors are available in my size

Then I'll typically try them on in a dressing room if I can.

Other gear is too expensive to worry about buying climbing clothes. I wear what I have, and cut it off if I can't see my feet.
