A BUDDY OF MINE SAT IN HIS HARNESS TO REPELL. WHEN HE DID EVERYTHING CAME APART HE FELL 93FT,AND WEDGED BETWEEN TWO ROCKS. WHEN HIS PARTNER GOT THER HIS JAW WAS JUST HANGING THER, HE BROKE 3 VERTEBRATES IN HIS BACK AND WAS BEAT UP PRETTY BAD. THEY RUSHED HIM TO THE HOSPITAL. HE'S OK NOW HE'S WALKIN AGAIN AND WANTING TO START CLIMBING AND REPEALLIN AGAIN.

Bummer. Although...seems like a crazy occurance. Everything fell apart? As in harness? Or what? Seems somewhat odd that the harness just blew up like that...

Good that he's better now.

That realy does blow and I too find that it is strange that the harness just "fell apart". I am glad that your freind is okay now and I really hope that in the future he will check everything on his gear.

Possibly one of the training webbing harnesses?
