No no no, you have it wrong. Women don't make mistakes. That shirt is awesome. Too bad you can only get it in Junior-S. I'm farm stock.

Uh, okay, I guess I'll be leaving the Ladies Room now. Sorry for tresspassing. If I may be so bold as to add a parting thought: a much nicer T-shirt (IMHO) "A Woman's Place is on Top!" (originally sold to sponser an all-woman expedition to the top of Annapurna). http://www.arleneblum.com/images/Tshirts.jpg Here's the website Carry on... GO Edited to add: What a change from the "Encouraging the opposite sex" thread. Not sure what to make of the fact that the two threads were posted within hours of each other. A knee-jerk reaction to the idea of reaching out in kindness accross the the gender gap, perhaps?

Call me crazy, but I wouldn't think a shirt advocating throwing rocks at women was funny, and I don't like that one either.

People are so sensitive!! :) I am actually sporting a shrinking scar on my forehead from when a boy and I dared eachother to chuck rocks across a pond. "You can't hit me!" I kept saying, like a smartass. Guess what??? He hit me. Blood everywhere. And I love guys, it's supposed to be tongue-in-cheek. ;)

Yeah, yeah, I know it's a joke, I just don't think it's a funny one---and I'm the one who wrote "men are stupid" on the fridge with the magnets when my roomie was fighting with her boyfriend. It was pretty funny in a drunken petulant post-break-up conversation, but to wear it around on a shirt? No, not funny. Clearly others think differently. But it's entertaining to finally be accused of being sensitive instead of insensitive and uncompassionate, which is what I usually get. thanks!

i like it a lot.... i like the 'women on top' one as well. sigh. got my visa out, very tempted to order one of both... i have a lot of shirts with little "cutesy" slogans or pictures on them, and they're getting old. = need more. i'd just hate to see the shipping to canada on them... oh yeah now i remember why i didn't get the "throw rocks at boys" shirt... junior S??? maybe before i started climbing i could squeeze into one, but not now, since my back sprouted crazy muscles.... anyone figure out the sizing on them? i'm assuming junior S is for 12 year olds?

I got the shirt today....it RULES!!! I said WTF and wore it to work and just about every female coworker rolled over laughing and half a dozen have asked to borrow it in the future. And THIS is classic: not ONE guy has commented or even noticed what it says! They stare at my chest but don't bother to read what it says cause they're too hypnotized by the umm...tight, chest flattering nature of the shirt to bother actually reading what says!!! I'm not kidding! BOYS ARE STUPID    !!!!!

Or you could use these two old military phrases on the Dirt Barbie shirts - pink or otherwise: 1. When you have them by the balls, their hearts and minds will follow! 2. Your soul may belong to Jesus, but your A** belongs to me!

I saw a "boys are stupid, throw rocks at them" bumper sticker here in Mammoth Lakes, CA. That wouldn't be one of you genteel ladies would it? I might start wearing my helmet around town.

We all KNEW it would come to this....some men with NO sense of humor are getting stores to pull the shirts. At least I got mine already  AP-Stupid Boys-Protest Under pressure, some retailers withdraw "Boys Are Stupid" items (New York-AP) -- The T-shirts and pajamas have captions on them that say things like, "Boys Are Stupid -- Throw Rocks At Them," and "Boys Are Smelly -- Throw Garbage Cans At Them." But three retail chains have dropped the merchandise, which features an array of girls' clothes and accessories, after a protest led by a fathers' rights activist who hosts a weekly radio show. Glenn Sacks says he doesn't get the humor in the "Boys Are Stupid" line, and neither does his eleven-year-old son. He says the items promote anti-male violence. Todd Goldman is chief designer of the line for the David and Goliath T-shirt company. He says he has a "very quirky, sarcastic sense of humor" and that if people don't like the cartoons, they don't have to buy the merchandise. But Tilly's stores in Southern California are among those pulling the items. Senior vice president Sam Mendelsohn says he wasn't aware it was a problem until now and agrees with people who find the items offensive.

At least I got mine already  AP-Stupid Boys-Protest Under pressure, some retailers withdraw "Boys Are Stupid" items [story follows, removed for length, see above post by moabbeth] I have a sense of humor, and find the t-shirt amusing. However, to play devil's advocate, what if there was a shirt that said "Girls are Stupid"...would it get the same attention, would NOW be up-in-arms about it. Think of how many stupid self-degrading t-shirts are out there that girls where these days (the one that says "I wish these were brains" right across the front comes to mind). People take everything too seriously...everything will offend everyone at some level. *sigh*
