How big does a tree need to be for you to be able to use it for a slackline setup?

Big enough not to break  . I am not trying to be a jerk here, but come on. You should be able to judge whether or not a tree can support your weight. There is no specific diameter per say and furthermore, even if a young sappling can support your weight I would not recommend using it because the abuse on it would be greater than that of a mature tree.

We suggest a tree at least the diameter of a telephone pole (12"). Although if you are using A-Frames you can use smaller trees by girth hitching them as close to the ground as possible. The bigger the better. If you wouldn't rap off it, don't slack off it. Best of luck!
