Are you talking about Hamilton Mountain? (runs right along the highway when heading east). I don't know of a good place to park (thats noty the 403 shoulder) if you wanted to climb it. Its best to just go to Nemo or Rattlesnake. If someone else knows of some good access I'd love to hear it.

uhhh...that rock you're talkin' about, runs from Niagara, to Tobermory, about 500km long. It's calle dteh Niagara escapment. ten section you saw, by the highway, is chocey, short, adn close to a 6 lane highway.
Try Rattlesnake Provincial park, or Kelso Provincial Park, or maybe Niagara Glen
