I hope this has not been asked 100 times before: I wonder if anyone here has tried the starter kits available from http://www.slacklineexpress.com/ ?
Would you recommend them?

About anyone that is serious about slacklining (probably most everyone in this forum) might want to consider an alternative, either our deluxe kit, any other the other companies out there or making your own. The last thing I want to do is sell someone something that won't meet their needs.
I make them but I don't mind saying that since we sell the Intro kit as the absolute minimum to get started - so you won't feel bad if you don't stick with the sport and only use the kit a few times. It still slacks well and feels fine, but I think 30' is short once you get over the newbie hump and the lighter duty webbing won't last as long as the nicer stuff. It'll hold its own for a long time, most people just prefer the feel of tubular nylon instead of flat nylon.
The only other reason we'd suggest it to someone sticking with the sport is if they want a really light setup that is very easy to use and are on an extremely tight budget. If you really aren't sure about the whole slacklining thing and just want to give it a try it's hard to beat for the price .
Our deluxe isn't much more but it includes a by far all around much nicer setup and is still pretty affordable.

I ordered one from slacklineexpress a couple of days ago.
I can't wait for it to come in!!!
Any way, I have had superb customer service using this company,(they sent me me e-mail updates on my orders status and everything. And Joe is a friendly guy. I'll have more feedback when I get the kit, but i won't have anything to judge it by because i've never slacklined before.
