Hey! I have heard a lot about Waterval Boven, but no one has taken me along just yet. What do you think pwsk, shall we share a car and petrol money and go there some time? Soon? LOL Rock-a-bye!

Thanks for the input you guys... I am going to Harrismith over the Easter Weekend to get some climbing done on the 6 pitch 150 meter crag. My first long haul. I am excited and very nervous...I climb and boulder every day now in preparation. Will add pictures and info when I get back... Cheers and Ahoy for you all... breathe stone R C

I am JEALOUS Roc! I am dying to go out there! But got a trip to the limestone crags in Oudshoorn planned for the same weekend so I will survive. Multi pitch sport is awesome! I did the Rave recently (5 pitchs 22, 1 pitch 16)and was never so beat before. You can expect some new routes in the database, and hopefully a few pics, from the Oudtshoorn trip. Breath smoke! He He He! RastaLizard

Thanks for the invite rastalizard, but unfortunately I won't be able to make it. I did however post a reply in respect of the sponsorships for 16 June 2002. And by the way, 6 pitches sound just fine to me. Rock-a-bye!

Roc, You'll probably be climbing "Fight the feeling " then. I've done it before and it is an amazing climb. Not very difficult, but it has wonderful exposure and exellent positive climbing. Climbing out of the cave is great and lower down on the 21 pitch it's just balance and feet...Don't forget to check the view once you're at the top hey... If you are going to abseil down, just watch out for the wind...there are plenty of chicken-heads lower down and to the left of the climb and the wind tends to blow your rope in their direction and coil it around them...be prepared for an interesting traverse if that happens...Be safe and enjoy!!!
