You know how everyone says once you learn how to ride a bike you never forget? Well how about slacklining? This winter will probably take away like 5 months for me to be able to tie down a line again. You think it's gonna take a while to get my slack legs again?

Once you get the basics down it will stay with you. You might be a little rusty after taking time off, but you should be back to your normal slackness in a few sessions.

yea time can hurt ya but you should have the basics back...check to see if theres a local gym near ya that would put one up! mine does! :D
