In reply to: Only 53 weeks to go...better start planning now. Wellllllll smaarrrrrrrrtttttAASSSSSSSSS( in a thick Scottish accent), i have been planning a new mead for that very purpose so i guess youll just have to wonder all the very next year how it will turn out. For those of you attending this year, we have a fine assortment of artisan crafted stouts and a EESB for the lively Colorado contingetn condo. Along with the bawdy humor and the comraderie, it will be an epic event. That is all, please return to the 2004 post for additional details.....

Come to think of it, standing behind you had an all too familiar ring to it when we went skiing, did you do time in Folsom? Dont worry, it'll be our secret. Get back into the 2004 we have a week to make it to the top five all time posts....

Well since the 2004 Ouray thread no longer seems to work, ill start getting this thing rolling: The 2004 Ice festival was another epic demonstration of the power of perseverance on many peoples parts. We had high speed blow outs, cancelled flights, lost luggage, missed connections, drunken stumbles and thats all just trying to get into that little box canyon area nestled right tup there in the middle of nowhere. We got the clinics, the climbing, the crappy schwag and the choice schwag, we got the home brew, the bad_A$$ awesome lasagna(thanks Reno), enough free beer from New Belgium to facilitate planning for a new wastewater plant for next year, Geos World Infamous high maintainence and wholly fulfilling Flapjacks, Mistress SKibby aka Mistress Domina Estrogena, and lots of world class ice climbers to snap pictures of and take pointers from too. I cant wait for the next Ice festival, its truly the best winter season event in this country that i can think of so far, maybe the trend will spread. More later......

Must remember to pack: 1. Old garden hose and sink thread adapter. 2. Foam and duct tape for dry tool competition. 3. More beer. 4. Larger guns and cahones. 5. Spackle and paint. 6. Faster laptop.

I have made arrangements for at least ONE more female companion to join us for the Ouray '05 festival. She's a sexy lass, and enjoys all things Scottish, so she'll be perfect for Geo. Nice legs, curly blonde hair, high heels, and fishnets. Does pretty good climbing up hills and mountains, and has been known to go "shaved" from time to time. Heck, she might just replace Beer Girl in Geo's eyes... http://www.geocities.com/.../Scottish-Hooker.jpg

More beer? Hell, im still libating of the leftovers from my sampling, and tis mighty mighty fine. Im brewing up a mead that ill keep in the rack until next Jan. will be epic. Im working on some side projects that will benefit the festival as a whole, and Martha, brats sounds great. We definitely learned to climb the week just prior, and then sit back to watch the festival unload, the roar of the grease paint and the smeel of the crowd.....oooooraaaaah!

In reply to: reno, dude -- you suck. [singing] "Imagine Me and Ewe, and ewe and ewe, and ewe and ewe and ewe... So happy together! Baa baa baa baa, ba ba ba baa..."[/singing] Everyone here sucks, but I suck less. And I was on top, so I'm safe, right? ;) Admit it, Geo... you think those fishnets are sexy. Heck, if'n there were crampons on those heels, you'd be panting like a dog in heat.

I think by the time 2005 rolls around, I'll own some ice gear. I keep reading about the mountains, staring at them, and talking to friends who go there. Damn. But no sheep love. That should stay in the barn or out in the fields of swaying grass where no other man may see. Down in the South we has a sayin': All whut happens in the barn, stays in the barn. Kinda like Vegas.
