I will be down in HP40 and Lilly during the week of March 21st-27th. Prolly stopping in Lilly on the 21st and then during the week I will be in HP40. The weekend around 26th-27th I will be back at Lilly. I am meeting Melissa on the 26th and 27th I believe. I will most likely be looking for a partner for HP40 during the week. If no one wants to pick me up as a partner for that week can anyone suggest some classic problems in HP40. I know two climbs that are my must do climbs on the trip are BumBoy and The Wasp. Millipede I am going to attempt to do but it is over my current send limit or so I think. V7 is a little out of my league. V5-V6 right now is what I can work on and possibly send. So I am looking for really classic lines and great problems in the V0-V6 range at HP40 or Lilly Boulder fields. Doesnt matter what the grade is, I love a great line. John

Just get the topo from drtopo and wander around. If you have not been to HP 40 before, it is an amazing place. You might feel like you are in something out of tolkien. Most of the local crowd is very friendly, so ask em for some recommendations. You could get great beta from Phil at Urban Outpost in Bham. Mortal combat is a classic. So is crystal tips.

You should check out climbs like Hammerhead (v5-6), Man with the slow Hand (v4) or pretty much any other problem there in that range. They are all super fun.

HP40 usually isn[t too bad, even on the weekend. There is enough rock that there is always something gree to climb on. It truely is a great place for bouldering.
