i was down there last year. just ask some locals. eventually you will run in to some nut who will show you the goods. i tried it and we ended up at this gorgeous area, you could climb over the sand or traverse over the water. it was great. but ya my best advice is to find someone down there who knows what they're doing. have a blast!! take pictures and post them. Go to Lover's Beach which you can only get to with a kayak or water taxi. Then you are on a beach between two rocks. Head away from the mainland along the oceanside and you will find a bolted ~5.7 which I free-climbed last time I was there. It is fun and very Joshua Tree like in texture. I know there is more there if you look around and there is stuff right over the water if you get a water taxi willing to wait for you, you can try climbing it. I heard there was some sort of guidebook or at least a handout once, but I have never seen it. Anyone?? miker
