Monterrey is the Capital city of the State of Nuevo León, which is a state that neighbors with Texas. Itīs about 3 hours from the closest border, if you want more info, you can contact me through rc.com.

hi. thinking of flying in for couple or few days at La Huasteca or EPC in march or april with a friend or two. how's the climate then? not too hot yet? i've seen fairly inexpensive room rates around EPC. true around La Huasteca too? easy to book once i'm there? and a car? food and other fun stuff? the multi pitch sport routes look mighty fun. any trad at LH or EPC too, or is that just way risky on the limestone? many thanks for the info

Welcome anytime!!! March and April are pretty comfortable months to climb either in Huasteca or Potrero Chico.
