If you haven't already heard, there is an awesome climbing festival being planned in Red Rock National Conservation Area outside of Vegas. PETER CROFT is going to teach clinics and do a slide show! Clinics by other climbers like Roxanna Brock, Tommy Caldwell, Tiffany & Jason Campbell, Shelly Presson-Dunbar, Beth Rodden, Adam Stack, Mark Synott, Kevin Thaw, Heidi Wirtz, Cedar Wright!!! Clinics, a party with free New Belgium beer, a dyno comp and a service project for the Access Fund will also be a part of it. $50 is all. $20 if you're a non-climber and want to just come along for the fun stuff other than clinics. register at www.mgear.com/rrr
Oh yeah: a date: March 19-21. Campers need to register early and also the clinics have limited participation...

I'll be there...Already paid 20 bucks for the brew's and fun. I'm out on clinic's though, I'll be to busy climbing.
And as always I'm looking forward to climbing with/meeting some of you folks!

This is one event i'm definitely attending. Prolly wont make the clinics, but definitely coming to the festival and for Mr. Crofts speech! woo!!!!
Of course, i'm not going to make the clinics because i'll be wandering up a multipitch or two at the time!!!

Croft give's the best slide shows!! That guy is funny AND a really good climber!!

flamer- dunno. if i dont get around to it before then, maybe Orpheus? or perhaps we shall retire to a lesser known canyon and some excellent climbing there!

You might talk me into Doing BO again.Of Course I'd rather climb something I haven't yet....but either way there will be free beer....I'll be there the week before and prolly the week after so I need alot of partners!!! Only thing on my list thus far is to finish my solo of Crimson crysalis. There are some "speed" records that are ripe for the plucking in RR if anybody wants to have a go....

I live here so i will be there. I really hope I can get out of work in time to make the show on Fri. I will pass on the beer as I will want to be fresh for climbing in the early am. I hope to finally meet a few of you and rub elbows with grateness.

hmm, good beer and good fun in the desert .. how much sweeter does it get?
i'm trying to rearrange some things to see if i can make it - a party at red rocks would have to be twice as much fun as some silly freeze your arse off ice fest. :P

I'm working on dragooning my longtime climbing partner Doug to RR... boy's gone soft... we'll see. Definitely interested in going, I think that weekend is 'spring break' for USC courses.

Since I'm now rained out of RR this weekend, yes I will FOR SURE be out there next weekend. It'll be great to see ya Amber, I'll see if my partner's cool with letting you crash on the floor of his nice warm house there :wink: ! Bob's party palace always rocks so we'll take care of ya! artm....you in for this??? It wouldn't be the same without ya.
And bonus points, some buddies are driving out from Ft Collins to go on a drinking and gambling spree at the MGM the same weekend....they're not even bringing their harnesses and gear so they can make sure they stay focused on the birthday party weekend. SO much debauchery to be had, so little time. :lol: :lol: :lol: WOOHOO!!!!
