They're pretty rad, if you color-correct the Salathe Breakfast shot, I foresee it making appearances on the front page in short order. After that wisecrack about the offwidths, now I want to do the Salathe and blow off Zodiac, etc. :-)

Vertiginous shots like yours are the main attraction of bigwalls for me :-)

(eg. one day I will get around to resizing this shot :-) )

(edit: I got the captions mixed up, it is the Salathe vertigo shot that belongs on the FP)

I *really* like that last picture. Really gives you a feel for that "alone with the height and the fright" sensation.

Hiking boots on Long Ledge...I'm guessing you didn't free too much of the Salathe?

Nope...I was the aid specialist...I let the other two guys fight over the hollow flake and the like 8)

That route is a pain in de arse...even the aid pitches make you wish you had a couple #4s and a #5 on most of em.

The headwall (linked pitches 29&30 supertopo numbering) Has got to be the greatest easy aid pitch on the planet...barely C2 in a couple spots toward the end. Lotsa backcleaning but who cares it's bomber and overhanging.

yep, took it as I rounded the "lip" (big fat rounded lip that is) of the big roof on p5.
that route is a gem, hell almost all the routes on the North Face are awesome.
if you're looking for beta 'the_alpine' or 'ncclimber' have done a lot more of them than I have!
