Does anyone have any info regarding the following:

> Conditions at Bishop (i.e. is there snow on the boulders?)

> Good hot pots for rest days?

> How crowded will the camp ground be and does it have a latrine?

Eeek. . . I suspect that they are going to be crowded. I suspect Mick will be here shortly for you, but check out his guide at rockfax.com

Well, considering that *I* am getting there as early as I can to reserve a bunch of sites, it will be crowded at the Pit, but there's tons of other spots to go (and nicer ones if you ask me). The Pit does have a latrine, the others don't.

where are the nicer spots?

I'm coming from Utah and probably won't arrive until midnight or later.

Crowded. Supposed to be sunny and highs in the 50's though so it'll be gorgeous up there. Most climbers I know are heading up there for the weekend.

Heh. Join the club. I'm going to be sitting around all Friday waiting for everyone to come in around then. Go where you know the first night if you get there late. Buttermilks has camping, but I really like the campsites along the upper rim of the Gorge. PM me if you want more info.
