What's the worst injury you've sustained while climbing, and how did it happen? Was it a mistake on your part, a gear problem, or just an unlucky accident? Oh, and stories like "i got wasted after the climb and fell on a rock" don't count, even though they're funny. ;)

Do you mean just accident injuries (huge whipper, groundfall, etc), or over use injuries as well (torn tendons, dislocated knee doing a high step, etc)?

this is actually kind of stupid... i didn't get hurt, but i definately could have... i was leading in a gym, and i did this little hop up to a hold next to the bolt and just slipped and i guess my leg got tangled in the rope from the pipe at the ceiling, and i flipped upside down and smacked my head against the wall, it sucked... my shoulder was fucked up for a while due to not warming up right, that's about it sorry if this doesn't have anything to do with the thread

How about "I got stoned after a climb, started a landslide, got caught in it and crushed my leg? That doesn't count??? May I suggest some light reading? http://groups.google.com/groups?selm=3BAACE54.FCF18258%40midtown.net&output=gplain Enjoy! DMT
