1. How many other unfortunates are cursed with having a second toe longer than your big toe? 2. What kind of kicks do you climb in? 3. Does your big toe put a dent in your second toe too? Is there any hope?

my second toe is bigger than my big toe I wear Red Chili Torro's. They are a little painful still but what happens with my feet sounds different than what you mentioned. My second toe (longer one) overlaps with part of my big toe, and thus causing me pain who knows????

"How many other unfortunates are cursed with having a second toe longer than your big toe? 2. What kind of kicks do you climb in? 3. Does your big toe put a dent in your second toe too? Is there any hope? " My toe next to the big toe is about 1/2 to 1/3 inch longer. On my left foot the middle toe is longer then the one next to the big toe. THis isn't a curse I've found. It works just fine. I climb in Mythos and cobras. Five-ten Zlippers fit me well too, but I don't have a pair at the moment. Yes, I have the problem with a dent in my toe, but does it really matter? it doesn't hurt. [ This Message was edited by: dustinap on 2002-03-27 16:05 ]

My big toe and the one next to it are exactly the sam lenghts. I climb with LaSportiva Muiras - hurt like hell in the beginning, but I have learnt to just ignore the pain. My little toe it totally crooked and makes a dent in my 4th toe. But, as I said, I just ignore it. Sometimes I can be a bit of a masochist.

My toe next to the big one is longer on both feet. I thought I was the only one, a freak if you will. My buddy always makes fun of this YES...I am not alone It does not hurt at all or affect my performance. I have the Scarpa infernos and they fit just right.

I'm with you guys, my toes dont get dented though. The second is just longer. I was told its a sign of intelligence, I wish it was a sign of better climbing ability. I wear red chili torros, 5.10 newtons, and red chili dos equis. The dos equis are the most painful by far but they climb so good. The torros and newtons fit just right.
