Yes climbing buildings, there was an article in my school newspaper this week about a few guys who climb buildings on campus. Who has done it, who loves it, why. ALso they talked about some students in the 70's in seattle who put out a guide to buildering anyone heard of it? http://www.inform.umd.edu/News/Diamondback/archives/2004/02/27/news5.html peace, oneness

Love it. It has to be done free solo, with a bike at the bottom in case campus cops have issues with it. Building cracks are the best The classroom building at UWYO hell yeah The Laramie WY, Safeway/Little Caesars gap Behind the Wild Oats in Ft. Collins Downtown Parking Garage in Ft. Collins Sweet ass offwidth on some Hotel in Logan UT There is a nice crack here at the littleton YMCA, haven't hit it yet. Look for old areas of town, unfinished construction, and colleges.

i enjoy buildering and it can be a good workout, but mostly do it because i live in a$$hole West TN where the most exciting place to climb is at the elementary school jungle gym three blocks from my house.

The buildering at VA Tech on the hokie stone is some of the best I have ever tried, for fingery, technical traverses.

buildering is a necessity for a broke college kid who just wants to climb. before i graduate, there will be a buildering guide to DePaul University floating around for people to repeat my buildering ascents and bouldering projects i've designed around campus. and not only is the climbing challenging, so is the running away from the fat campus security dudes. rock on, buildering peeps sojourner

When I was 9, my dad took me buildering in Boston a few times. I think fear of the police coming and social services taking me away ended that fairly abruptly.

So, those guys don't want to draw atention to themselves, but they will get interviewed and photographed by the campus newspaper? Apparently 'free-style climbing' is consuming too much of their cranium. That or bong resin.

Been there done that.... inside building outside buildings... Run from the security at Mount Royal College more times than I can remember.... It's just that sprinting in climbing shoes 2 1/2 sizes down from your trackshoes really really hurts. :?

Yeah, i builder, like a Mutha-f**ken riot!, im hooked and gonna quit anytime soon. I look at a building and all i see is: thats a climb or that aint a climb. But if it came down to it, there aint many buildings round here that i could get on the roof of. The problem is, it usually takes about 5 minutes before someone comes out and tells you to get the F**k offa there building. oh yeah, u gotta use masses of loose chalk and do it in running shoes, pretending that those people staring at u just aint there.

Tell those guys at your school that they are fags, and if MD wasn't so far from my house, I would drive over and kick their asses. Buildering is sweet. My current challenge is to rappel all the college stadiums in the state of UT, from the top, obviously. "But don't copy me, now that I have came up with this, and told you all about it."
