From what I hear it ins't exactly the best thing to stretch tendons or any soft tissue, that's what leads to tendinitis. But, streching the fingers a little is good. I have some tendinitis in my middle finger and tried streching my fingers directly backwards and the finger swelled up pretty good and the tendon was got aggravated, but I was wrenching on them pretty good. The idea is to bend them backwards enough to strech your muscles in the forearm, loosening them up. Pulling plastic sucks :x

grip the tip of the fingers and gently pull backwards. do it so that you feel even pressure along the whole length of your finger. then you can grip them all and twist your palm backwards so you stretch your whole forearm.
