I'm wondering what the temperature and/or climate is like in late May or early June...I imagine pretty hot, but exactly how hot in Potrero Chico? Thanks!

Summer temps rarely get extreme, say over 100 degrees. Usually it stays in the mid-nineties which is OK cuz its a dry heat and, because of the orientation of the walls, there is always shade. As with just about anywhere in the summer its best to climb early or wait until late afternoon (or both!!)

i just got back from potrero i was there from 8/9/04 to 8/12/04 and i don't think it ever broke 95. we were able to climb the east side of the road until about noon take a lunch break and then climb the west side of the road when the sun went down a little. as long as the sun isn't right on you the heat isn't so bad.
