I am planning a trip to Peru in August (some flexibilty in terms of dates). This will be a quick trip - 2 weeks, I interested in 2 different areas depending on conditions:
Paron Valley - Artsonraju and la Esfinge
Santa Cruz Valley -Alpamayo Quitaraju
I live in Bay Area of CA, would ideally like to find someone from area

Hello Blaunder:
I´m also looking for a partner this summer in Peru. I´m in Argentina now and have spent the summer climbing in Patagonia. I would to do some mountaineering. This is what I have equipment for but if your interested in doing alpine rockclimbing and have a partner I would love to come along anyway. This can always help with expenses and safety. Sounds interesting I would be in to Alpine and Rock let me know what dates I am in Guatemala right now going to Squamish in July then trying to figure out a climbing trip for Augest I would love to go to peru let me know what dates.

It would be great if you want to get together for a trip possibly the last two weeks of August to Haurez. Its a great spot not to far north of Lima, lots of Alpine and some rock too. The most amazing mountains in all of Peru are there. Its like the Chamoniaux of Peru. I would love to some mountaineering as that the equipment I have for now with me. An some rock too would be great and I think could find some gear for that.

I'm planning a south/central america journey from los angeles. I've never been south of Mexico.
climbing will be part but not the focus of my trip.
I will also be diving, hiking, biking, rafting and visiting the galapagos.
any help with info, contact referrals, hosting, suggestions or showing me around those countries would be greatly appreciated.
