my street shoes are 9.5 and are roomy I'm looking at buying La Sportiva Mistrals first of all, any thoughts on theses shoes, good bad, indifferent...and what would be the ideal size for me in European sizes (i'm thinking like a 39.5)

well if you can, try them on before you buy them as the european sizes are not an exact sizes plus different makes of shoes tend to be bigger/ smaller depending on the make?? i.e. my red chill's are a size bigger than my five-tens. Plus have you accounted for dropping a size with your shoes ie some climbers wear a smaller shoe on the rock than on the street for more info on this try five.ten. web site. as for the shoes I have heard from some that the sole wears very quickly I dont know just heard hope this helps tofattoclimb

I like the mistrals. They got quite stinky...but I liked them. Super fun shoes. I trashed them pretty quick though, so I'm not climbing in them right now.

excellent shoe, but i don't think they make them anymore, they are being replaced with the Katana's.. You still might be able to find a pair if you look. try barrabes.com, i know they have limited sizes...

A question I have about shoes is all the shoes I have seen are too small for my feet both in length and width it isn't like I have the biggest feet of my friends. Is there anywhere I can get shoes custom size shoes. I have size 15 american size.
