Hi I am a beginner climber and I am looking for someone to goe climbing with me on Tasmania. All the adventures clubs on Tasmania either do not do rock climbing because of lack of staff or they do it indoor which I am not interestet in. I will be on Tasmania from the 13 th of april to the 21 nd of april. I would like so much to go so please if anybody got a little time. But keep in mind that I have not much experience.

There are not many climbers in Tasmania as it is a remote small island off Australia's coast line. Ask around in Hobart, the capital, and you migt find soemone. I wouldn't hold out much hope.... if you are travellign from overseas I would reccomend going to Arapiles in Victoria, hanging out for a while and tryign to convince others to travel with you to Tasmania.

Few Climbers in Tas????
Sure there aren't millions crowding every rock (surely not a bad thing!!), but it still has some of the most memorable crack and amazing feature climbing in OZ, (especially along the east and south-east coasts!) IMHO.
Have faith - partners can be found!
