Well.. maybe you can have a pair for color.. say the Katanas or Kaos. and then another pair for Black and white.. say Testarossas for the downturned look or some Moc's for the smooth lace-less design

may i also point out that a good pair of shoes must look great on any rock surface, slabs or cracks, and perform well in any light

Since the katana's aren't soooo bright (like the kaos is), they would probably work perfectly, no matter what color the picture is. They would probably look especially nice in black and white (not so many bright colors then)

Indeed, la sportive nuiras are the most photogenic shoes.It looks pretty weird and can be worn for the fancy dress competition.
