hey y'all

yesterday there were two threads that could use some juxtaposition -

plastic v. stone
&
a spanish one about making one's own holds (fabricacion de presas?),
which contained a post about a Costa Rican hold company that makes natural stone holds -

to-wit:

En CR tenemos la Bribri Holds que son de piedra natural, muy buenas, por si quiere comprar unas!!...

I can't find any info on Bribri Holds online or through a Forums search - I did find info on people gluing natural stone et al. onto concrete;

I've also read of the legendary bridge out Bethany way here in OK that was a sweet climbing spot for 7 years 'til the city tore it down (it was rocks glued to a bridge wall)

so - any info on Bribri holds or other natural stone holds? I wanna build a small wall for my son but am not a big fan of plastic . . . except that epoxy is fun to work with

I know this doesn't even speak to the eternal gym debate, except as to materials, but whatever

thanks y'all

here's your solution. cheap, fun, and you are in complete creative control:
1) go outside
2) pick up rocks
3) aquire a wet saw
4) cut rocks in half
5) drill hole in each rock
6) attach to wall as you would any prefab plastic hold
